Presentation of the school

The life of the school is joy, kindness, the desire to learn and communicate. The IFDS French school in Samui was founded in September 2013. The funds provided come solely from tuition fees. The objective
of the teaching team is to allow each student to continue
education equivalent to that which would be offered to him in France, join order to ensure the continuity of education abroad in the best possible conditions.
Personalization of the educational path must allow everyone
to go as far as possible to reach one’s capabilities and areas of excellence.

The knowledge and skills to be acquired, clearly identified
all levels of schooling, give the student’s career a
true unity. It is by individualizing the care of
students and by empowering all stakeholders in the education system that
the IFDS will become ever more effective. Everyone, in their place, has the responsibility to contribute to the achievement of this objective: - Parents, who are the guarantors of the education and socialization of their children. - Students, who gradually build their autonomy over the course of their education, by being more demanding of themselves.-

initiative, the rigor of reflection and action are highlighted
school service.

Social life

The IFDS is happy to welcome your children for schooling
annual or partial from the small nursery section until baccalaureate.

Primary school students

An educational team of qualified teachers. English classes
are also taught to students, in order to best immerse them in
the framework of this new expatriation. Initiation to music
(guitar, piano, singing), manual activities (painting,
cutting, making and creating objects) as well as sports activities are on the program at our school. Evening homework is under the supervision of a teacher.

High school students

Students are supervised and supported throughout their school year by qualified teachers. They will be assessed in each subject through continuous assessment. They benefit from reinforced English lessons in addition to the French program. A Spanish teacher provides teaching for the second language from the 6th grade.

- We draw your attention to the fact that the sections are not mixed, except for sport and music.
- Each class is assigned a timetable. Concerning the exams, the tests take place at the Lycée Français de Bangkok:
- The college certificate for the 3rd year class.
- The anticipated French exams for the 1st year class.
- The baccalaureate for the final years. The students are accompanied by one of our teachers throughout their stay. IFDS is an establishment of high standards and ambition, offering each student the path to success. IFDS also has the role of providing all these children with a sense of sharing, conviviality, respect for others and the surrounding environment to be able to enrich yourself and take full advantage of your expatriation.
